You don't need to join a gym or get some expensive, bulky piece of equipment to get in shape.

There are a number of things you could be doing. Push-ups, walking, running, biking, jumping jacks, pull-ups, swimming, the list goes on and on.

The main thing is to get started doing some sort of physical fitness everyday. This will get your body used to moving. You don't have to exercise to the point of exhaustion but enough to get your heart rate up.

Then begin to fine tune a routine that you're comfortable with and is line with your fitness goals.

If you're just starting take it slow. It can be overwhelming at first trying to process all of the information.
